Costa Rica Vacations Company Braces For Launch Of Online Community

San Jose, Costa Rica (PRWEB) February 14, 2013

As one of the leading online travel agencies in Costa Rica, the web development team at Costa Rica Vacations (CRV) does their best to keep pace with industry standards for online visitor interaction and user experience.

With the goal of increasing user interaction, CRV is preparing for the launch of their first web community. Over the coming weeks the team of in-house web developers will be assembling the company’s first “web 2.0″ platform. The aim is to provide an online meeting point for expats and travelers where they can share information and experiences about life, work and travel in Costa Rica.

Casey Halloran, co-founder of CRV had this to say about the project: “We felt there was a need for a one-stop community where the moderators and contributors have first-hand experience. Our site will be run by people who either live in Costa Rica or frequently visit the area and want to offer their knowledge.”

The long-term vision is to build a sustainable community of enthusiastic members who are passionate about sharing their Costa Rican experience. This will enable first-timers valuable insight before visiting, moving abroad or attempting to start a business.

CRV covers the entire spectrum of travel to Costa Rica, including all inclusive vacation packages, fishing packages, eco-adventure and even romantic honeymoon destinations. Their current super special offer features 7 nights for the price of 5, and includes upscale lodging at Rio Celeste Hideaway and Villa Buena Onda in Guanacaste.

As the leader in Costa Rica vacation packages, CRV continues to build upon their record of outstanding customer satisfaction. The company views is that the addition of an integrated community of travel experts is just one more way to add value to their clients overall experience.

Austin, TX (PRWEB) July 19, 2012

Spanning, the makers of Spanning Backup for Google Apps, today announced the Save 5+Make 5 affiliate program, giving the Google Apps community the ability to offer Spanning Backup to their network at a $ 5/user per year discount while earning a recurring $ 5/user per year referral fee at the same time. As a member of Save 5+Make 5, Spiceworks is able to provide extra value to its community by sharing their discount code.

Every Google Apps customer needs Spanning Backup for Google Apps. Its a matter of responsibility if you plan to conduct business in the cloud, said Charlie Wood, CEO and founder, Spanning. With Save 5+Make 5 were investing in our community of customers, partners, and resellers to help us spread that message. We want our community to share in our success.

As part of the program, Spanning is collaborating with Spiceworks to offer more than 2 million Spiceworks community members special pricing and referral opportunities. More information is available on Spannings Spiceworks Vendor Page.

As more business applications move to the cloud, its important for IT departments to consider how off-premise business information is being protected, said Jay Hallberg, co-founder and vice president of Marketing at Spiceworks. Were excited to bring new technologies like Spanning to our community of IT professionals as they manage the transition to cloud-based environments.

Google Apps resellers are also excited about how easy this program makes it to offer Spanning Backup to their customers. “Just like Spanning Backup, Save 5+Make 5 is a breeze to setup and use,” said David Eck, Cofounder at Paruzia Technologies.

This program is also designed to reward Spanning Backup customers for the word-of-mouth referrals they have been giving Spanning Backup from the beginning.

Our business learned the hard way about the need to back up Google Apps, said Rob Catron, Information Technology Director at Kentucky High School Athletic Association. When one of our users deleted all of her emails, Google told me that it went against their privacy policy to restore them. They were gone forever. Since I became a Spanning Backup customer, Ive been educating my peers about the need for Google Apps backup in hopes that I will save a few people from repeating my mistake, he said. With Spannings new Save 5+Make 5 program I get rewarded for telling my story.

Door to Door Storage Assists in Recovery Efforts for Community Destroyed by 2011 Texas Wildfires

Kent, WA (PRWEB) March 20, 2012

Door to Door Storage, Inc. is providing long-term assistance to the community of Spicewood that was destroyed by the Labor Day 2011 Texas Wildfires. The company became involved early in the relief efforts as part of its Door to Door Cares: Texas Wildfire Relief program by donating 13 portable storage containers. In addition, employees have volunteered their time and a special deeply discounted storage pricing plan has been created for area residents. Spicewood was devastated when the fires burned 10 square miles in four days, turning the brick and limestone homes of hundreds of families to dust and completely destroying concrete slab foundations.

The assistance from Door to Door Storage? has been invaluable and we appreciate their commitment to help our community, said Pastor Tommy Wilborn, Chaplain of the Spicewood Fire Department and Chair of the Spicewood Long Term Recovery Committee (LTRC). “After the fires broke out, we were overwhelmed with contributed items and had no place to sort or store them. When Door to Door provided containers, this made it possible for us to continue helping dozens of families who had lost everything. We were able to store essential items including food, water and clothing needed by 189 individuals in the community.

Door to Door has donated the 13 storage containers at no cost to the community of Spicewood. With a collective capacity of 26,000 pounds, they provide relief workers the ability to efficiently manage the donated items. The company is also giving a special discounted storage promotion that is 50 percent less than its standard pricing and is waiving the normal contract length terms.

Door to Door brought containers out for us the same day we called. Travis Morrow, the local manager at Door to Door, promised he would help even though the delivery would take place after normal business hours, said Pastor Wilborn. “From 9 pm to midnight he worked with us to get the containers where they were needed most. The responsiveness of this company is not something you see every day and demonstrated to us how much they care.

Door to Door employees have also dedicated more than 1,000 volunteer hours to support the relief efforts of the people impacted by these devastating fires. The companys Texas Market Manager, Kevin Uselton, notes, We do more than just business in a community we serve, we are a part of it, and we want to help. Mr.Uselton serves on the Spicewood LTRC and has helped connect the Committee with the General Land Office (GLO) to discuss opportunities for relief funding. He has also helped to facilitate free flood certification for Spicewood and neighboring Bastrop County in an effort to ensure that residents have adequate insurance for future disasters as many of them were uninsured or underinsured when the wildfires broke out.

We are very involved in the communities we serve across the United States through our Door to Door Cares program, said Uselton. Our participation with Spicewood and the surrounding areas that were destroyed by the wildfires reflects our commitment to help those who are in need.
